These images were made across many years and several return visits to specific places. The work rewards return — the same waterfall in a different season, the same river bend in a different year, becomes an entirely different photograph. What you're seeing is not a survey of Sierra Nevada waters so much as a record of what particular light asked me to notice, at particular hours, at particular states of the water's flow.
