The Eiffel Tower pretty much speaks for itself . . . but just in case: we visited after spending a few days in London, including a stint at Canterbury where I proposed to Mary in a nearly empty cathedral on a crisp December 31. We both wanted to do this again in another, possibly even more romantic setting. So we had dinner high atop the Tower at the Jules Verne restaurant, where I proposed again, and where she, perhaps calling into question her judgment, said yes again. This piece is based on an image made before dinner. Getting a steady shot while sober in this light was difficult enough; after dinner would have been impossible. ;)
