Into Nothing

I visited my third daughter in Jacksonville FL this weekend. Did not bring a “good”camera. But while waiting for a seat at the (fun and delicious) Metro Diner in Jacksonville Beach, we walked to the beach, almost completely encased in fog. The beach had that “staring into oblivion” feeling. Allie observed that the walkway to the beach seemed to disappear into the fog.  In the photo, that’s fog, not a blown-out sky highlight. This photo is not about technical excellence, or composition, or art. It’s not even a particularly good image. But it’s a wonderful memory.
