Gustare: The Monitor

Our latest artwork features a monitor lizard from the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana. This was a good-sized fellow, maybe three to four feet long, and his colored speckling alternately glowed and faded as he breathed and moved in the warm  early morning light. The piece is titled Gustare, from the Italian meaning "to taste."
