Going With The Flow

Yesterday, I scouted the Jacksonville Beach Pier while we continued to celebrate Allie’s graduation. Tide was coming in, and so it was inevitable that I got soaked while making images.  Light was not optimal, because it was a bit early in the day, but the sunset behind me eventually provided some soft color. This morning, tide was again inbound, so I got wet again, but there was some lovely light, even though most clouds, such as they were, hung at the horizon. As the light started to come up, more and more people arrived, including some fairly rude portrait photographers, who seemed to think. I thing of having their subjects go dancing into my shots. Ah well, we take the light, and conditions, and crowds we get. As I packed up and headed off the beach, I took one last look around and snapped this pic with my phone.
