We entered Dubrovnik just before sunrise, and we expected to get a nice view of Franco Tudman bridge, and were hopeful for a colorful sunrise. There was something going on alright, but it was obvious from the sky that it was on the other side of the hills. To compound the photographer’s frustration, there was nothing but the faintest wisps of clouds in the sky. But then, the golden glow began to consume the rifgeline, and then the sky and was soon picked up in the water. It was just beautiful.
