By any other name . . .

When we visited Maison Bouachon in Châteauneuf-du-Pape (owned by the same very engaging Jean Charles Boisset who owns Buena Vista in Sonoma) in October of 2019, Mary discovered a delightful rose named the Yves Piaget they had planted in several large pots in the front courtyard. Her mother would later gift her that varietal, and she planted it in the center box of her raised garden beds. It has thrived ever since and now is glorious in the spring and summer. The scent is amazing. The memory wonderful.
