Time in Small Space
Another piece in our Zen series. The slot canyons of Arizona are extraordinarily beautiful, a delightful area to visit, and even more fun to photograph. We’ve written elsewhere about how challenging they are to photograph. One of the challenges to photographing them well is other humans. This scene, titled Time In Small Space, was surrounded by photographers, and even some trash. It was, in two words, not soothing. But the sand and the stone and the light painted something different, deeper, and apart.
