May 6, 2026: Version 1.1.2 has been approved by Apple and released to the App Store!

May 5, 2026: Thanks to our vigilant testers, we discovered an unwelcome bug in v1.1.1(b25). That bug has been fixed, and v1.1.2(b27) is under review in the App Store.

Cinco de Mayo: Version 1.1.1 has been approved for public beta testing. You can get it at TestFlight, or if you want a formal invitation, send us a request to info@hammondraffetto.art.

April 27, 2026: Apple approved version 1.04 for release through the App Store. You can get it here Version 1.05 has been released to TestFlight for public beta testing.

April 25, 2026: Internal testing of v.1.0.3(b20) is completed, and we hope to push it out by tomorrow if Apple finishes their review by then. This version incorporates auto-orientation of images and first phase iPad optimizations. We have removed v.1.0.2 (and all previous builds) from the TestFlight.

April 24, 2026: We released version 1.0.2 to our beta testers today. "Collections" functionality is now implemented, along with website links ion share cards. Keep banging away!

April 22, 2026: The public beta of our app is now available in Apple's TestFlight. You don't need an invitation to join. The link is publicly shareable. If you have any questions about the app, please use our Contact Form.

NOTES: Version 1.0 (build 14) is optimized for iOS. It will run fine on iPadOS, but its appearance has not been tuned yet to take advantage of the iPad's real estate. All functionality is currently operational. This includes: auto-updating of available artwork, subscription & notification, favoriting, sharing, and setting as wallpaper, including taking advantage of the wonderful iOS/iPadOS feature known as "Create Photo Shuffle Wallpaper."

April 19, 2026: This is where App Marketing information will be displayed during and after TestFlight phase.

April 10, 2026: We've begun working on our iOS app for Apple's App Store. What will it do? It's pretty simple:

  1. Allow users to download Retina-resolution images of our artwork to view on their iDevices,
  2. Set those images as wallpaper,
  3. Share the images on social media and through Messages and Mail, and
  4. Subscribe to receive automatic updates of available images.
  5. Best of all, it will be free, and always will be!

So, if it's free, and the images are already on our website, what's the point? Well, traffic analytics indicate that people don't love websites, and they might like blogs even less. As John Gruber, a long-time Apple watcher and analyst recently observed, you need to go where the people are. And right now, people like interacting with apps.
